If we haven’t met before — hi, I’m Emma.
I spent more than 14 years building a career in the Australian Public Service, rising from APS6 to SES Band 1. I understand the demands, the politics, and the invisible weight that comes with senior leadership, and I also know what happens when the inner world is ignored.
Alongside my lived APS experience, I bring professional expertise in leadership and human development, including graduate qualifications in psychology and postgraduate qualifications in adult education and knowledge management.
Leadership development is my profession, and yet when I found myself at this same crossroads, the systems I had helped build didn’t support me.
At 47, I left a career I loved, believing I had no other option.
But the truth is, I did have options.
